jeff is correct! BMW引擎汽門使用電動馬達 is actually going to cause more 動力損失, tat is why valvetronic is not used in M3. valvetronic is less efficient at high rev because da camshaft drives da rocker arms which then drive finger followers. tis causes a lot of friction.

in exhaust phase, the piston pushes the air in the "cylinder" out but there will still be exhaust air left in the "combustion chamber". because air has mass, there are 2 ways for this leftover air to exit. one is the exhaust air in the combustion chamber needs to be dragged out by the inertial effect of the exhaust air in the cylinder. two is tat it can be pushed out by the intake air. if back pressure decrease, the inertial effect of exhaust air decrease, so it is difficult for the air to exit the combustion chamber. and at low rpm, the intake air is not fast flowing, so it doesnt have a big "pushing" effect towards the leftover gas.

if 1st gear can go up to 40km/h i'm in 2nd gear 30km/h, and shift down to 1st gear, then tis is not 檔煞 rite? da car will not slow down if i do tis correct ma?
