A Q for apex150...^^
Hi:
I read that you got the normal K&N filters in your MX6?

Do you think that putting the K&N G2 or the HKS intake gonna be good(faster) for MX6?
thanx!
Based on my experience with the K&N, If you really want to see the improvement, you'd better invest on something else.....
thank you for your answer...^^
I like both HKS and K&N
maybe, I will put both in my car...^0^ kidding...
So, did you think that the intake just look good? Isn't it work well?
Thanx! I studied in FL...^^

Perhapse a good intake system will increase a few horsepower at PEAK, at peak means it's about time to explod your engine. At this point, I'd say a good intake system will improve performace. But do you always drive at the peak? or keep your RPM as high as 6000? If most of the time you're driving at 3000 or 4000, by looking the "before & after" diagram in magazines, the performance is actually the same a s before. So I don't want to say "It's so amazing! K&N improves the performance clearly".
If you like HKS or whatever design, why not get it..haha..at least when you open your engine hood, you feel happy to see it. Just don't expect to feel clear difference.

So, you know SuperStreet, right?
There are a lot of crazy cars in that.
In fact, those intakes are not cheep for me. That's why I want to ask some MX6 owners.
I checked the www.mx6.com
they said the Hotshot something is better, I have no idea...><. Now, I may just get the normal K&N which can fit in the air box...
PS. I went to your town once.
I really love the Japanese Center. There are a lot of cool stuff there.

I already given up improving performance on my MX-6 already. Because these activities just aren't cost efficiency. For the next car, I'd just get a better ones, such as Acura CL typeS or MDX.
Japanese Center is where I always have my hair cut done, haha. Because their skill and service is similar to what we have in Taiwan. But their service is a little expensive, $45 bucks per cut and wash. Also there are some good restaurants around..haha

MDX is a pretty nice car.
